2008 marks the 100th anniversary of U. P., by any measure one of the most influential institutions in the country.
In commemoration of this, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has issued 100-piso banknotes with the overprint of the UP Centennial 2008 logo.
I even got an email that someone is selling this at pesos: 250.00 each - wow.
